It's been a month since I've posted (sorry about that), but it can never be more than a month since I have to update on my sweet little Nellie Bird. I thought that when school was out I would have tons of time. Yeah, right. When I last posted, I had a plan to do a few shoots, edit pictures, and sew some frocks for Helena. Shoots were done, some pics were edited :) and I made 4 outfits for the baby.

The two at the top have matching headbands, too. |
After that, I was off the NYC. It was crazy fun, but more on that later. After the kids got there, one thing I had to do was to get Helena's 8 month chalk picture done. I wanted something that would be iconic of New York. We considered the Brooklyn Bridge, but I thought it was too busy. I wanted a stoop pic, but we finally decided that graffiti was what we would do. Our friend, Hanna, helped.
Pretty awesome, huh? Pretty much the cutest little stinker in the world. You want to see more, don't you?

so sweet even the graffiti wants to eat her up. |

Had to add a picture of big brother. |
She hates being on her belly, so it doesn't look like crawling is anywhere in her near future, but she does sit forever and play. She finally has something to say and jabbers all the time. She still naps twice a day and sleeps well at night (but needs her tank topped off around 5) She will eat almost anything we feed her and does pretty well eating what we eat. She loves the song "Father Abraham" and will clap at "If You're Happy and You Know It". We think we are getting close to a bye-bye wave, too. She loooooves her big brother and he's fond of her, too. Overall, she is a sweet natured, easy going little sack of sugar.
So precious!!!
