Shot the wedding to end all weddings, spent the weekend in SA, spent 5 days and 3 nights in ICU with my brother, driven back to SA, brought Reiderbug back with me to Ft. Worth, gone to 3 doctors visits, done 2 baby shoots, had a couple of dinner parties, lived through Reid's first big time bloody accident, had my teeth cleaned, and driven back to SA (again).
Today I take the train home and plan on finishing up some last minute work (3 more shoots), weed my flower beds, make a couple of dresses, clean my filthy house and get ready for FOUR WEEKS in New York. The summer of Arlene is about to begin. Stay tuned...
For your viewing pleasure, Helena Blythe at 7 months.
Seven wonderful months of this precious little girl. I know I don't have to tell you how delicious she is. She is starting to reach out for you when you hold out your hands to her, which thrills my heart. Unfortunately, it is also the age when they want mommy more so about half the time, she buries her face into mom's shoulder and won't acknowledge me. That's ok, I won her brother over and I'm not above some Mamie enticements to get her to see the folly of her ways.
You'll notice her arms have lost the top "rubber band" and are staring to slim down. Makes me sad. I loved her can of biscuit look. Her hair is long enough for a clip, so I'm counting the days until we get little pig tails!
PS Don't you love the embroidered "necklace" on her onesie? Her mommy did it. She did get some of my DNA.
