little altars: Kitchen Impossible

This is what the Kitchen looked like before we started work.

Here are some before pics of the inside of the house. Before the ceiling was repainted, the kitchen repainted, all appliances torn out, counter tops removed, cabinet doors removed, cabinet boxes repainted, wall was added, tile backsplash ripped out and floor taken out. It wasn't a bad kitchen. We are hoping that it looks at least as good when we finish our magic. Our magic includes extensive HGTV viewing and lots and lots of perusing home improvement magazines at Home Depot while Kenny looks at tools. I also spend lots of Sunday afternoons going to open houses and checking out everyone's house renovations. My peepers are always peeped for every new piece of kitchen jewelry out there. We've also redone a couple of bathrooms and a utility room ourselves. All the mixed together with a burning desire to fix things up, whether it be your life, a relationship or a kitchen, makes this a dream come true for me. Let the fun begin!
