The Latest Wedding

I haven't done a wedding since September because I was worried about the baby coming. The last bridal I did (at the end of Oct) was with the understanding that if the baby came early, I'd have to find someone else to fill in. I was soooo stressed because this bride was flying in from Wisconsin. We obviously made it and she was a beautiful bride.

I know this bride from high school, my second time thru (as my kids like to say). I worked at a high school and because of my job, I was required to work pretty closely with the kids. For a couple of years, I had to be a part of a group that can only be described as a spirit/cheer type group. Anyway, they had to go to all the games and lead the crowd with cheers and chants. This bride was a part of the group and one of my favorites. One of those kids that you knew would be just fine when she grew up. She is a lovely person with a sweet, gracious spirit. Her wedding was small but packed a punch. I loved the cake, I loved the table settings and I loved candy table. I've done wedding that I know cost thousands more that didn't have the impact this one did. Just like the bride; small, elegant and beautiful.
