It's Beginning to Look Lot Like Christmas

I usually hate it when malls start Christmas so early. Because I've missed about a month of life in my forced seclusion of love, I have lost all track of time. Since the weather is so cold up here, compared to Texas, it feels like Christmas. Lastly, since I will not be with my sweet baby during the Christmas season, we HAD to have his picture made with the mall Santa. Who wouldn't? Santa looks as smitten with Reid as I am, huh? He was a great one, too. His beard was real!

We been doing our usual whole lot of nothing. I've done a couple of shoots for Meg's friends and that's about it. Reid is finally off his antibiotics, so hopefully his tummy will get back in the right groove soon. He sleeps well but will wake with a screech. We roll him on his tummy or pick him up and he will let out a toot like a man and then go back to sleep. Then we roll him back over or put him down.

I was very excited about going to a farmers market in Olympia. We drove down yesterday, but it was so stinking cold, we got back in the car and went to a bakery instead. We had brunch and then tried the market again. This time, Meg stayed in the car with the baby and I made a quick run thru. Kind of a letdown. I think the Dallas one is a lot better and gives samples, too. I did get some WA apples, though and plan to make some apple butter before I leave.

Today we went to church for the first time with the baby. Hectic morning (all those memories of trying to get babies ready without losing my testimony came rushing back!) but we made it, just a little late. It was a beautiful church and it was so nice to meet some of their friends.
Here are a few shots of kids I did.
