Tying up Loose Ends

With about 2 weeks (officially) left before my sweet bundle of joy arrives, I feel like all loose ends have been secured. My trusty laptop, which should have frequent flyer miles and a high school diploma because of the frequency it has joined me in my journeys and has been to school, is now approaching kaput. I have added memory, replaced the charger jack and have gotten a new hard drive in addition to 2 external hard drives. These sacrifices to the computer gods have not impressed them. According to Cloud's Laws, if money is tight and time is tighter, it's time for something to break down. One car is up on blocks in the driveway (sorry neighbors) and now I've taken the leap and purchased a new laptop. Not a PC, because that is cheaper and all my software runs on that. I've decided to go whole hog and upgrade to a Mac. That requires purchasing new Photoshop software and embarking on what will be a really steep learning curve. And, I'll add, spending a heap of money. I did it 3 weeks before the due date and I was really stressed that Little Critter would make its appearance before everything arrived. It held on tight, much to its mommy's dismay and everything (except the baby) arrived today. I also had a wedding, a family reunion, 3 babies and 2 seniors that I HAD to do before I left. I finished the last one Monday night and now I can breath easy. The only hurdle left is to get everything installed and moved over before I have to head north. I think I can, I think I can....
I've had my bags packed for 2 weeks and now everything is a go. Houston, start the countdown, I'm ready for liftoff.
Here are some shots of what I've been working on. Let's start with a shot from the family reunion. A gathering to celebrate mom's 80th birthday. Wonderful family and I think this only took 3 different shots to make the one. :)

These are the 2 seniors that I shot this weekend. I was NEVER so confident and beautiful at 18...or even now.
We'll do the babies by age. This is Leyton at 2 months. You've seen him before at 1 month and at one hour. If Meg has a girl, his Granna will have to share him with me. I'll do the same for her and then we'll have one of each.
Baby # 2, Mollie Grace at 12 weeks. She was a surprise visit. Her mommy texted me to let me know she'd be in town and there was a 1 hour window in which to see them. As luck would have it, I had my camera with me and we did an impromptu shoot. Aren't they both beautiful?Parker is now 9 months old. Pulling up and crawling and being a sweet patootie.
And lastly, the wedding. So much fun and just a great time. I think you can tell that the bride was having a blast, too. The groom looks like he's not doing too bad, either!
