Update on the New Year's Suggestions

I know, a third of the year is gone and you've been wondering, anxious to know how my New Year's suggestions to myself are going. Ha! I know you've forgotten about them, much like me. I just took a look at them, though, and I've haven't done such a bad job.
  • back yard has been revamped. Daisies and coneflowers wrestled to the mat. I even shared some with friends who may be out for me once these babies take hold.
  • Hydrangea moved and very happy with its new home.
  • Started a small vegetable garden and despite the untimely end to the cukes by way of doggie digging, it's looking good. Lots of tomato blooms and even a tiny, baby green bean.
  • The chickens (well, chicken now. Another murder) are BACK!
The kitchen and bathroom haven't been started, but it's only April, right? We are not gonna talk about the spiritual and physical suggestions right now. I will ask, though, that someone please hold me accountable in this area. I am proud to say that I am working more in the yard, do have a serger (YAY!) and watching WAAAY less TV. Not because of any character strength but there is nothing to watch now that my Direct TV is gone.

On the money front, we are getting a little more organized on the budget end of things. 2 more months and Meg is off out phone plan. Kenny ended all of his wine club memberships (good for him!) but now Wine Till Sold Out is delivering to Texas again, so he changed his poison.

Here is some evidence of the progress.
The Girls, Thelma and Louise (the boys named them Super Stacker and Slow Poke but I didn't put it on their birth certificates.)
The garden
And some progress

My serger is on the left
Working, and playing, in the backyard.
More later as I delve into another part of my suggestion list that has been kinda private.
