My New Pintrest

One (of only a few, I'm sure) things that my daughter finds less than endearing about me is my tendency to focus my full attention (some may say obsess) on things. In some instances it works to her benefit, like photography or renovating kitchens, but I feel like there are other times when she rolls her eyes at me.

My newest obsession fascination is a website called Pintrest. It encompasses everything that I love: organizing, surfing the web, DIY, food, events and borrowing others' ideas, all in a convenient, one stop shop. It's like a virtual bulletin board. When you see something online that you like, you "pin" it to your board. And you can have a board for each interest, so your things don't get muddled. Who hasn't seen something online and thought to themselves "oooooh, I need/want/don't want to forget this!", and then forget where you saw it? Me, too! Or maybe you just don't have time to read it all at that particular time. This site will absolutely solve those problems! Just hit "pin it" and you'll have it saved to whatever board you select. Even better, you can look at the boards of others and see what they are (p)interested in and if their tastes are similar to yours, follow them. All the pins are credited, so you can go back to the original site if you want to buy something or find instructions for making it.

Although now all of you will know that the majority of the ideas for which I would generally be credited for are, uh, borrowed, I feel it would be wrong not to share my newfound favorite website. Take a look and if you join up, follow me and I'll follow you! I feel sure you'll be sucked in, too, and become a "Pin-worm" like me. (Making up names, especially this one, is another thing Meg rolls here eyes about). Let me know what you think.
