A couple of weeks ago, Meg came down for a shower and B drove down to see her. He hadn't seen her since May (in New York) and they hadn't been at home together since January. He was excited to see how his nephew/niece was developing. He was only able to stay a day and a half, but we had a great time. I realized that this was the last time we would only be a family of 4, with B being the "baby". The next time we are all together at our house, there will be another generation of the Cloud family. So surreal! We went to an Asian place that was also a grocery store with my parents and had a great time helping B stock up on food. The Saturday after she got here, Meg has a shower given by several dear friends. So much fun!!! It was great seeing so many old friends and catching up. She got lots of baby stuff and we ate lots of goodies.
We packed as much fun as we could that week. We were even able to go to the lake with lots of friends to swim and tube (she didn't!). We had so much fun, in fact, that she decided to stay 4 more days. I love Southwest Airlines! She was able to change her departure date and stay until last Sunday night. Yea!!! So, we packed in even more fun. There was a great consignment sale that we were able to make and bought a ton of stuff. I can't even tell you how much trouble we had packing everything to get it back to Washington. We also made time to do some more baby belly pics. I have to tell you that she was VERY hesitant about me taking these pictures in the beginning. She even told me BEFORE she was pregnant not to count on doing that with her. Luckily, she had a change of heart and we started early so I could document her "journey". This is one that I did. She's about 32 weeks along. I put the rest on my website (in the back of the gallery for now to be more discreet). I think she looks great!
