Christmas miracle, the story continues...

One of my first blogs was about my friend and the adoption of her son. I don't think she minds if I share a little of her story. They had struggled with infertility and decided that adoption was they way they wanted to build their family. I know that this was a decision made with lots of prayer and the conviction that it was God's plan for them. Because I was working directly with her during this time, I had a very close view of what was going on in her life. K did the home inspection for the home study and I did the pictures and photo book they needed to show birth mothers. I think they got everything turned in and were all approved by last July. One short year ago. As validation that their decision was the right one, by October they had been chosen by a birth mother. You know the story after that if you've read the earlier blog. Here is a picture of that handsome guy now. Pretty sweet, huh?

This is a good story in itself. There are so many examples of God's goodness in this situation. The way He answered prayers make it impossible to deny His hand in it. This story doesn't end with this couple becoming a family of 3. God had an even better ending (or maybe just a long and complicated beginning).

Yep, that's a picture of little P's baby brother, due in August. He'll be 8 months old.They wanted a family and God gave it to them! What more evidence do you need that this sweet baby was meant to be a part of this family than this? As soon as he was safely with his mommy and daddy, God added a brother for him. How much fun is life going to be for them? I can't wait to watch them grow up!
